Hey ladies! I was just trying to figure out what I'm going to be cooking for the next week (and my grocery list) and I thought I'd ask you for help! Then I figured, why not help each other? Just post any meal ideas. For instance, you could write something that's widely known (e.g. "spaghetti", "tacos"), or, if it's not a super common meal or you make it a special way, a short simple recipe. Then, you can go through the replies and choose a meal plan! Easy Peasy!
The only thing I ask is that you keep it as simple as possible. No nine course meals, ladies (as if we've all got time to even come upwith one of those! lol)!
I'll put some simple ones up first:
Tacos, Spaghetti (lol)
Lasagna
BLT's!
Breakfast for Dinner! Make pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange juice, etc. for dinner.
Toss a beef roast (good quality for best results. Look for marbeling of the fat throughout the roast.), cut up potatoes, halved onions and whole baby carrots into the crock pot, put an inch or two of water in the bottom, and cover. Cook on high until potatoes are tender when run through with a fork. Tasty!
One of our favorite meals is
Turkey meatloaf using Mcormic seasoning
Little red potatoes (mashed potatoes with the skin on it)
And another vegetable (not starch)
we are doing this tomorrow
I make chili in the crock pot too. Semi-homemade.
equal amounts:
dark red kidney beans
light red kidney beans
cooked ground chicken (much more flavorful than beef)
Then put one or two cans of canned chili HOT beans ( I always get hot for the flavor, it doesn't make my chili hot)
chopped tomatoes (or canned stewed, whatever you wish)
Toss it all in and put it on high. I love it with chicken and followed with a chopped fruit dessert, it's a full meal!
How do you make that? Do you use a recipe? And can I have it? =)

The meatloaf is on the mcormic seasoning pouch and the potatoes I just scrub and slice boil til tender and mash with a little butter, salt, pepper, chives and sour cream.
Buy some pre made spaghetti sauce or make your own.
Pour sauce into 13*9" pan and add 2tbs parmesan cheese.
Put chicken in and coat with sauce.
Cover with foil and bake 30min at 375*
Uncover and put 2cups of mozarella cheese shredded and 4Tbs of parmesan cheese on the chicken
Bake an additional 5-15min until chicken is done.
Serve with noodles.
