Have You Ever Called Crime Stoppers or the Like?
It's called Crime Stoppers in my area. It's a tip line you can call if you witnessed something.
I called once. There had been a hit and run outside of the public housing complex this bitch I hated lived in. The vehicle description matched her car, and since it was literally right at the corner of where she lived I left a tip. IDK if anything came of it though. I didn't do it just because I hated her. I did it because it sounded like something she'd do, and even someone I knew who didn't hate her agreed.
BUT i did want to call unsolved mysteries on everyone when i was little. lmao we would be at the store and i'd be like "look! that guy looks like the man that killed that lady!"
my aunt would just laugh at me.

Unknowingly, I helped capture a fugitive Hells Angel.
lol, there was one time I was watching America's Most Wanted with my dad. They profiled this guy who was accused of molesting kids. I SWEAR, he looked EXACTLY like a teacher at my school at the time! His classroom was down the hall from mine and he taught special needs kids. I told my dad about it but he assured me they do extensive background checks, etc on teachers.
But the next time I saw him, he had shaved off his super long beard and hair that he had for like 3 years prior to that, and that was shown in the picture they profiled on AMW.
I still wonder if it was him. I never said anything to anyone because I believed my dad when he told me that. I was only in 5th grade lol

I will be vague about it since this is the Internet. I went to this bar with some coworkers to celebrate someones birthday. While at the bar this big biker dude comes up and starts hitting on me. ME? I have no idea what he saw in me. Remember he is a biker and here I am a single mom of 3 sons. Not some hot chick or some sexy broad. Just boring me. Anyways everyone was making a big deal about it. When I was leaving he walked me out, gave me his number and proceeded to show me his bike. Nice bike! Anyways...I mention this the next time I see my brother. My brother is a policeman. So I am describing the guy and telling my brother about this and his face goes pale. He asked me the guys name and then got up and made a phone call. He came back and told me that I was to go to the station and tell detectives everything I knew. I did. You should of seen their faces when I remembered that he gave me his number. Long story...sorry.
Anyways there was a sting ooperation and the guy was apprehended. I never had to go to court or ID him after my statement.
