c-section survey?

Hey guys! I'm new to cafemom kinda I used to be on here a few years ago but its just too much drama for me. But I'll get straight to the point. My cousin is having a baby right now! She was induced and shes been pushing for 2 hours and getting nowhere. I've been thinking about this and realized that I don't know ANYBODY that was induced and didn't end up having to have a c-section so I wanted to do a survey and find out how often this happens or if its just the people that I know. I'm curious! Please help me out here :) ALSO, they are saying that she is past the c-section point and she has no other option other than to push the baby out. I didn't know this was possible! Any ideas on that?

I was induced with a c-section. But my friend was induced and she didn't have one. She did push for over 5 hours though :-/

Also....I was kind of induced with my first. My water broke at home but I wasn't in labor so I had to have pitocin. I had him naturally

I know several women, induced and not, who pushed for well over 2 hrs.

Once it gets to the pushing stage, I think that unless the baby is stuck or something goes horribly wrong, they don't do a c-section. With my DS, my water broke and was leaking for days before I realized what was going on. They started to induce me, but then the doc found the baby to be breach and lodged beneath my rib cage. I was rushed in for an emergency c-section immediately. 2 broken ribs later and there he was!

I was induced and did NOT have a c-sec. My birth experience was awesome and pretty easy.
