DD is high as a kite that's why she seems fine!!!

My dd has strep and a double ear infection, started wednesday, this weekend we are supposed to go to this rather large family function with my inlaws. Her ped told me that she should stay home at least through the weekend (last time she got sick with strep and her ears it progressed into a lower resp infection and was hospitilized) so to be on the safe side she is to stay home and rest. My husband comes home to an overly hyper kid high on motrin and keflex, she feels great, her tonsils look like raw meat. He says "oh she's fine, I'll tell my mom we are going" Um no, she feels great until her motrin wears off and it's time for her tylenol. sorry it just irks me to no end that my husband would rather take out his sick child to appease his parents then follow simple dr's order to rest or at least not be around a bunch of people. just venting.
