Wow, three student suicides at the school I attend.

WOODSIDE, Del.j - February 16, 2012 (WPVI) -- Officials are working to provide counseling and support to students, staff and parents in the Polytech school district after three recent student suicides.

 

The death of a female Polytech High School student in January was followed this week by the apparent suicides of two members of the wrestling team.

Officials say there's no indication that the deaths are connected, but they are working to schedule informational sessions for parents and the community, including suicide prevention measures.

The district has posted a message on its Web site saying officials are heartbroken over the tragic loss of life.

Poly Tech had three recent student suicides.  I am going to the CNA adult education program on that campus where this happened.

It's creepy when it happens where you are.

 teen suicides are definitely sad and wish more could be done, but when it happens so close to home.....

I found out about this when the the district called my phone and said "in light of recent events, we are offering services for grief".
