Too many people buy into the idea they 'should' get married.....that is why divorce rate is so damn high!

People are so afraid of 'being alone' or not getting married when they "should"....so, they just 'do' (only to get divorced years later....hmmm - better to have been married and divorced than to not have been married at all????).

 

I dunno....why else do you think the U.S.A. divorce rate is 50%?

I won't ever marry SO, but I don't ever plan on leaving him either.

I think most people don't use a rational mode of inquiry when they make (what they consider to be) "emotional" decisions. But that's probably because most people don't even know what emotions are apart from what they experience on a superficial level.

It's the same thing as when you ask someone, "Why did you choose to have a child?" and they look at you like you're speaking a different language.

There are reasons for everything, including the emotions an individual feels. Appealing to tradition or living on a whim-driven basis or simply choosing not to think... well... You can avoid reality, but you can't avoid the consequences.

the devorece rate is so high cause lots of people dont care.

People get married for the wrong reasons (not all).Some woman only think about the fairl tail wedding.Some people think its always gonna be like honeymoon, but when reality sets in they get fustraited. 

Most people are just way to fast on getting a devorce. Espeically now a days when its "ok" and by society accepted. 50 years ago it was different even 20 years it was different. Its just sad that some people give up so fast and not try to make it work.
