I am always so tired and worn out from breast feeding, but my daughter loves nursing so much. Even at almost 15 months old, she will barely drink milk any other way. I have to stop or I will flunk out of school and not be able to work. I really need my energy back. anyone else go through this? Weaning sucks.

Its like a band aid.  You've got to rip it off, other wise, if you try and do it slowly it will drag out the pain and awfulness of the situation.  So duct tape your tits together, and cut her off.  Offer her nothing other than a bottle-cup-whatever but no boobs.  Have your DH take over feedings.  ETC.  I know that sounds harsh but in ONE WEEK she will not even remember :)  Good luck momma and HUGS!

No, actualy.  I went back and edited when I realized her age :/  Do a sippy cup and if thats all she is offered she WILL take it, just might put up a fight for the first week.  After that she won't even remember :)

That's the hardest part for me and why I need to quit. I keep falling asleep nursing and then nothing gets done. Usually with all my lights on, contacts still in, pot of coffee still being heated. Cannot function
