Today is my son's birthday. He is turning 4. So here I am, sitting on my couch, crying. I just want my baby to stay my little baby. I remember when he was born, when they pulled him out and set him on my chest. I remember crying hysterically, so glad he was finally here with me. I remember the nurse picking him up to bring him over to measure and weigh him and he peed and they laughed and said he's got 'great plumbing!' My cousin laughing and saying "He looks just like Uncle Bob!" (my dad). I remember my stepmom handing me the phone to tell my dad (in Afghanistan) about the birth of his first grandchild and the next day hearing that he got the pictures my stepmom emailed him and that he forwarded those pictures to show off his new baby to everyone he knew =]
I remember the first time Max crawled, his first Christmas, his first birthday, his first steps. I remember hearing 'Dada' come out of his mouth and being so excited he said his first words, yet so heart broken it wasn't 'mama' that made it out first lol. I remember big slobbery goopy kisses and those 'beginners hugs' where he pulled a little at my hair. His first haircut, his first 24-hour stomach bug (the most heartbreaking day of my life), the first time he wrote MAX on his paper, and then MOMMY on our white board...So much has happened in these 4 years and I couldn't be more proud of him. I am excited to see what the future brings and see where his life takes him and see him continue to learn and progress and succeed, but I so wish he would stay Mommy's Baby Boy forever. <3 I love you, Max Andrew. Happy Birthday!

He is adorable! My oldest just turned 10 on Monday... I have been emotional since Friday lol
Ds turns 5 today and I also got a little teary eyed for the same reason :/
*Smdh* I was trying to find the "missing" word on his Christmas outfits. It was the Santa. Lmao.
He is sooo stinking adorable!! I love the milkshake picture. You should edit that in black and white and frame it :)
My son just turned 4 on Friday, and as I was squeezing him like crazy, and shedding a little tear (okay so a lot), he wrapped an arm around me and said, "Momma, don't cry and be sad. It's my birthday, and there's lotsa cake."
He's beautiful! Man these little creatures are so amazing and the best things and totally worth living for.
