Is it really THAT much cheaper to go to a dental college to get work done ?
I don't have any type of insurance and need to go get some some what expensive things done like 4 caps (crowns) a root canal my wisdom teeth taken out and one other tooth needs to be pulled and replaced with a dental implant (its one of my molars) and I've got a couple cavities fixed. Needless to say its not going to be cheap. I've been told by people that if I go to a dental college it will be a LOT cheaper and was curious if it is drastically cheaper or just a hundred bucks or two less. Obviously a hundred or two is cheaper lol but I mean based off of what I've been told it seems like it woule be drastically cheaper.
I'm also really freaked out by dentist and the thought of someone in dental school drilling into my teeth doesn't exactly sit well with me haha.I mean what if they screw up or something.

I would look around to try to find a company that will insure you. That is a good amount of work that needs to be done.
In my early 20's I needed a lot of work done. The insurance that I found cost me 10 a month and reduced the cost by 50%. Now, that was 15 years ago, but I'm sure there is something like that out there still.
