This is my favorite.

I have two boys. DS #1 just turned 3 and DS #2 is almost six months. I've noticed that my oldest still hasn't fully adjusted to having his little brother around. They have cute moments like the one I captured in this pic but at times my oldest is very mean to his brother. Everyone keeps telling me that it takes time since he was used to being the only child, but how long does it take? Did you ever have this problem?

My girls have their moments. One min Dd#1 is reading a book to Dd#2 the next they're screaming and hitting each other.

It gets better as they get older, but there will always be that fight between them of who is the baby and who is mommies favorite, and thats my toy. thats sibling love for you. Your younger one will fight back when he gets older and then it will be just "brotherly love". They never outgrow it, it just grows into its own type of thing.

I have three boys and they have their moments when they are all mean to each other.  They tackle each other whack each other occasionally with their toys.  My youngest ds decided to fight back and he's actually the meanest one of all three.  He bosses the older ones around and he's only two.  They are exceptional when it comes to newborns or infants, but when they start walking and getting into each other's toys, forget it!  You just have to constantly remind them not to hit their brother and to punish them equally.  There are some days where I just throw my hands up in the air and want to give up, actually I let dh take over then!  Wait until your baby walks and you will see the difference quickly!  My youngest ds is the trouble maker.  My boys are 6, 3, and 2.

They'll always have moments where they get along and moments when they don't. I have 3 and they fight and argue and pick on each other. And then you'll catch all 3 snuggled on the couch watching a movie or looking at a book. Or overhear one tell another "I love you." just part of it mama. Hang in there! :)
