I paid it forward

I finally found what I felt was the perfect opportunity to pay forward the random act of kindness I received recently.
There's this young man at work. He's a really good worker, the kind that'll help anybody. Well he's been getting his hours cut recently, while business is slow. That's been making him struggle financially, and I overheard him say he's not been eating, because of it. That just broke my heart. So, without making any fuss, I discreetly handed him $30.00 and said it's not much, but it'll get him some groceries. He started to refuse it, but I explained to him about paying it forward, and that someday his opportunity will come, to do something kind for someone else.
I really like me today :)

That's wonderful. I had a customer once pay it forward to me. It's contagious! I was so excited when I could finally pay it forward to someone.

Good thinking there.  I always liked to help someone out with food if they were struggling.  More people need to be willing to reach out to those who may need extra help.

I am so glad to see there is still kind hearted ppl out there.. I feels good to help someone out when they can. I like to see that there is ppl out there that are not selfish anymore.. I was kinda wondering about that...

That's pretty much what I told him. We're all a community, we need to help each other.
