The Baby Factory Type Women

I have nothing against big families as long as you can support them.. I am one of seven siblings and my parents supported us completely without PA or handouts. So I have this acquaintance on FB who posts everyday she has nothing for her upcoming baby and needs all this baby stuff and if anyone has anything they want to give her for free(BTW...She is only 17 weeks pregnant). This is baby number 4 for her and she is a SAHM. The family is on the usual assortment PA but only 1 kid is at home with her during the day the rest are in school full time. It blows my mind someone can be actually OK begging for handouts on FB and do nothing to better their own situation.

I'm not on PA or anything like that, but if I knew a bunch of people who may not need their stuff anymore I may ask if they want to unload a bit on me. :-p

i agree that would be annoying..  why doesnt she have her stuff from the other kids?  most people with limited resources are good about not wasting things..

She needs to invest in birth control. One child is enough for me because I can provide him with a good life without having to struggle especially now that I'm divorced.

My mom is friends with this crazy lady who has 13 children!!! 12 have the same dad. Which is shocking giving this crazy lady but they have assistance but her hubby is in prison and she does work full time so I guess she does need it but 13 children!!!! And only 1 boy!!! I would be crazy too I guess lol her oldest is 27 and her youngest (the boy) will be 7 this summer.

She probably thinks being a SAHM is a "right". Personally, I think it's a privilege--a privilege that comes from being married to a man who makes enough to support the family in a comfortable lifestyle.

When I was on PA, I was required to actively search for a job in the county's workforce office 5 days a week!

My SS's mother is a baby factory. She has 6 kids with 6 different people and up until recently, had never worked a day in her life. She lived off PA and other handouts until the state forced her to get a job.

I don't see the issue with her having that many kids and being on PA. If that's what she needs, then she needs it. A friend of mine wrote on facebook asking if anyone had baby things because she'd gotten rid of a lot of her newborn stuff after her son. I don't see why its such a big deal.
