no seriously..... my son was in his walker and he ran straight for the coffee table...  ( i usually keep things off of the coffee table, but last night my dog kept trying to take her collar off so i did it and left it on the table) he went straight for the collar and of course it went straight to the mouth.... I took it out of his hand, firmly sad no and put the collar on the dog again. DS started giving me the evil eye, then went to try to take the collar off of the dog. I said no again and he stomped his feet on the ground, slammed his hand on the walker and started yelling "uh uh" then started crying....

Oh yeah. My son started throwing tantrums at 7 months.

LOL. My kids started throwing tantrums as soon as they figured out that mommy could take away things they wanted.

Yes, I think so.  And, it's a perfect time for you to correct that behavior so it doesn't become a bad habit.  At that age, just ignore him and maybe put him in a play pen or crib as some kids will bang their head on the floor.

Lol. I know what you mean. My DS6, when he was a toddler, used to bang his head on the floor, walls, tables, anything he could reach when he was mad. The last time he ever did it, we had gone to my dad's house and DS was throwing a fit in the car (he was about 3 and a half). When we got to dad's and got out, DS slammed his head on dad's concrete driveway. Boy, was he surprised when it hurt a hell of a lot more then he thought it would! Lol. He was ok...he didnt hit himself hard enough to even put a scratch on his head or anything but he learned that day that it wasnt a good idea to bang his head on stuff. Lol. Boys.
