I was explaining to my kids how worms eat dirt and poo it out to make new dirt. My 11 yo daughter says "Im not eating sugar anymore" and I asked her why. She said sugar is made from dirt. (First LOL) Well my 13 yo son speaks up and very matter of factly told her "sugar comes from sugar cane not dirt. Its brown sugar and then they wash it really good to turn it white!" (Omg, I'm rolling with laughter by now). And so daughter said "Yeah, well how do they wash it?" and son replies "in the factories...duh" LMAO!!! That made my day right there.
