would putting a diaper on my pup while he is in the house help with potty training him? (pic)
lol. hugo is such a sweety! i just love him, but now that he has figured out he can easily jump the baby gate, and has started to have free roam of the house, i am finding little piddles and poops here, there and everywhere! ( thank god we dont have any carpet!)
i have some plastic cloth diaper covers, and i am seriously considering putting them on him while he is in the house, and taking them off when i put him outside.
do you think this would work?
he does even notice it's there, lol. i will let you all know if it works :) lets hope it does.

heres hoping it works :) if he CAN'T pee inside, he is more likely to do it when i put him outside, right?
No. It's best to make sure you know when they are starting to pee so you can take them outside immediately. That's how they are able to associate that outside = potty.
when i got my adult male, he had never been in a house, and would pee just anywhere, so i made a beely band type thing, put it around his waist, covering his weiner, and only took it off when he went outside. a week of that, and he has never peed in the house again.
hugo has free roam of the house, and unfortunatly, putting him the kennel results in ear peircing cries about the unfairness of it all.
i don't like locking him up when i leave, because i am worried he will just sit there and howl and get himself all worked up and have a heart attack or something ( stupid i know) and well, when i am home....i have enough noise in the house without adding that! kwim?! lol. he goes to work with me and never piddles in the bar.
