Another Tax Question?????

How much on average did it cost you to get your taxes done?  This was the 4th year that I had them done at a place and the price always astounds me.  I pay almost $500  There is really nothing that spectacular about our taxes.  Granted we have 1099's instead of W2's but its really pretty straight forward.   Before deciding on this tax professional we had a different guy and with him I was audited twice.    Anyway just curious if others are paying as much or more than we are.

We have a 1099 and W2's both.

I do mine free online. But we only have w2s & charitable donations. The one year we had a 1099 we paid h & r block to do it, still got a decent amount back.
