I can take pics if it will help?? But I need someone to fence in part of my back yard. How do I know how much to pay someone? I have a friend of a friend that has offered to do it but he has no idea how much it's worth. Charge by the hour, by the job? HELP!

I don't know if it's really called chain link it just is metal fencing. Here is the smaller roll. It's all in great shape.

This is the back yard. This is the only side I need fenced in. It's almost 30ft.

I also need a swinging door thing, but I could probably manage that myself. Sorry it's sideways. :/

I guess that would depend on how big the area is and what kind of fencing you want.

Call and find out how much a professional would charge? Then give your friend half or so? And feed them? Idk

Never by the hour. People tend to take advantage of that.

What kind of fence? If you do cyclone fence, you can do it yourself. It's not hard. Is it a big area?

Charge by the Job not the hour.   Call a professional for an estimate and ask for a breakdown of the estimate. See what the labor charge is and give A lil less than that.  I'm assuming your going to buy the Materials yourself?

IDK what a cyclone fence is. I have this weird chain link type fence stuff, a whole roll of it, in the back yard. But no posts or anything. I don't know how to do it. It's just to keep the dog in, I will be out there with her so it doesn't have to be super high or anything. I just want to be able to let her off her leash without worrying about her getting hit by a car.

Definitely will feed him. :) How can I find out how much a professional would charge without having them come out, do you know?
