Most atheists can't stand not knowing all the answers. That in itself is a sign of self-indulgence, and self-righteousness and you can't even see that.
I can't say. I haven't met most atheists.
I've never thought that deeply about it nor know many atheists so I can't say.

That's what I'm saying.
I don't know "most" atheists, but it seems to me that the rest of your statement could and probably does apply to anyone who is overzealous (annoyingly so) about whatever their religious or faith based beliefs are.
In other words, asshole know-it-alls exist everywhere.
Disagree. For the simple reason that most of the atheists I know have been questioned endlessly on their reasons why they are an atheist. So it makes sense to me that they would look for as many answers as they can. And other atheists that I know, just like to argue. But that has more to do with character and not belief choice.
I know I don't have all the answers....
That#s no reason to stop asking though. That's just a sad statement on how people dislike others intelligence and questioning.
