Because you know your kids will want some? Sometimes, even if I'm craving it really bad, I won't eat chocolate or chips because I don't want the kids to be jumping all over me saying, "What's that? Can I have some?" I will also put off eating lunch or dinner until they go down for naps or bed because I want to eat in peace without them filching stuff from my plate or bowl. Do you ever do this?
If I want something bad enough I will lock myself in another room and eat it lol.

Yep. I know it's not fair to eat it in fron tof him if I don't want him to have any. However, there are a few things that I love and he hates, so that works, lol.
No. I go in the kitchen and eat whatever I was by myself. Same with meals. I have the kitchen and living room separated so that I can watch my Netflix in peace while they eat in the living room.
No. If I want it but they can't have it, I simply tell them no.
Quoting mamakenzi:
For the reasons you listed no, my daughter knows better then to behave like that.
