Does your 3yo still babble a lot?

DS is 3.5 and still babbles with baby talk a lot. He can say a lot of things, but he doesn't really talk in full sentences. He still taks like a baby in a lot of ways. His words are still kind of slurred and unclear but it seems like he just doesn't like talking much, though.

My 3 year old sometimes sounds like he is babbling because he just talks very fast at times. His vocabulary is incredible though...

This is complete jibberish. He isn't saying words, just babbling like a baby like he's pretending to talk.

Nope.  MY daughter will be 3 in June and doesnt babble at all!  She talks in complete sentences and has for a while but she is rather advanced for her age.   Does he say words at all?

Sounds like he is behind in language development. He should not be babbling at hig age. There are many resources available to you online that you can access in regards to his development. The CDC and the Mayo clinic are reputable sources. Here is a link to an article I found, while doing academic research, that has accurate information:  http://kidshealth.org/parent/emotions/behavior/not_talk.html

I've noticed that in girls in general. A little girl who is the same age as DS has been talking in full blow sentences from the time she turned 2, but she comes from a very, talkative family.  Yes, he says lots of words. He doesn't say them really clear, and they're really short sentences like Lu you-Where it go?-No way-I dunno-anx (thanks)- ank you (thank you), bite-bite etc. He also counts to 5-7 and  repeats the tv or people with words  but he jibbers so much still.

Mine does, she turned 3 in October. She hears me saying "what? Say it again for me" a lot, lol. I just recently figured out that when she says "ho-nah-in-ih" she was telling me to 'hold on a minute', and she's been saying that for MONTHS now and I had no idea what it was. o.0
