Me... In L/D With my sister! She is 40 wks 5 days today and her water broke at 4:45 pm on 2/22! I am making sure she is well takin care of! :) love my sissy!
Ok, now tell me why you are awake?
~ after a long 24 hours of horrid back labor and having to have her son suctioned out to find his umbilical cord rapped around his kneck 2 times.
I am proud to announce Derek Anthony was born at 5:09 pm and weighed 7 lbs 15 oz and was 20.5 inches long!
He is so handsome and doing very well! ( both him and momma are doing great and he is nursing well)
His daddy did great through L/D also! ;)
I am now home and pooped ( not as pooped as my sister I'm sure)
So off to bed I go. Good night ladies! :)

Im awake bc im co sleeping with my almost 3yo dd....who started to kick the covers off of her but since I was sleeping it woke me up and I thought something was wrong with her for a second til I realised what was happening.
Then I realised it was super hot upstairs so I went down to turn down heat and now cant fall back asleep.
