Did they do an ultrasound first?

I think this new bill is ridiculous but I also kind of assumed they would do ultrasounds before an abortion to see what they were dealing with, I guess I could be wrong though.

Yes they did but I had the option of seeing it or not.

ys but it wasn't the invasive kind it was just onthe outside to confirm how far along you were to make sure you complied with the states laws they also didn't force you to look. the lady turned the screen toword her and did it quickly.

the bill in VA was trying to make them get the kind that is done vaginally

They usually do, cause they can't go up in there and take out whatever... they have to do an ultrasound first.

Yes. I also had to have a sonogram when they could not find a heart beat.

So, do you know how this bill is different? I thought you didn't have to look with this one either. Was it required to have the ultrasound when you had one? Sorry if I'm being nosey, I just don't fully understand.

I took someone who had an abortion & she told me that they did because she wasn't sure of her last period date. They never turned the monitor to her so she didn't see anything.

They don't require that women look at them. Thats what the bill is trying to do. Require that women see the baby, fetus, or whatever they think it is first before making a final decision.
