What are your thoughts on it? Is it the same as am abortion? Is it a smart choice for emergency contraceptive? Morally void or morally acceptable?

Tell me what you think.

its not abortion and its a great choice for emergency contraceptive ....key word emergency and it should not be abused and used as birth control

I don't think of it as abortion at all. All it does is "prevent" the egg from implanting and that could also happen on it's own.

It is not an abortion pill. I think it is a good thing and should be available to those who need it and at a fair price.

It's not the same as an abortion at all. It prevents implantation from happening. A lot of people often mistake it for the abortion pill (RU 486, I think) which actually causes women to have an abortion.

It is so not the same as abortion. It even says "Plan B is not the abortion pill".

I took a Plan B once to avoid becoming impregnated by a man-whore.

I know I should have thought about it before we had sex and all that good jazz, bottom line is I didn't and I take responsibility for it and I prevented a  potentially horrendous outcome.

Haven't taken a Plan B since then.

I know its not the same, but I also know some people view it as the same. Just trying to get an idea of the varying opinions : )
