do you feel like it is your job to wake Dh/So up?

Do you wake your Dh or SO up for work and such? Or do you feel they are fully capable of getting up and making it to work on time on their own?

It's not my job persay but when I am home I usually wake him up. He works nights so I'm already awake. If I'm not home he is capable of waking him self up.

both of our alarms are set to wake up together, usually mine is set 5 minutes later. Its rare I have to wake him up, only if he had a late night which again isn't common.

I do wake him but HE is the one who feels it is my job to do so! this has been a mini fight with us for years with me letting him sleep in and be late for work just to get it through to him I am not an alarm clock! I guess we will fight about this for the rest of our days together! LOL

Nah, the one thing Mike has been very good about is getting to work on time. However any other time, if we have things to do I have to kick him in the ass over and oer again. He's getting better, though.

Not my job. But I will and have if I know he is over sleeping.

But, he usually gets himself up just fine.

I have to force my husband to get out of bed most days. I also do all his laundry etc...considering we are halfway through a divorce, I am beginning to wonder how he will function on his own

He is a grown, responsible man. He knows when he needs to be up and knows how to set an alarm. I am not his mother so no need to wake him.
