I am debating on trying out almond milk instead of cows milk. Does anyone have opinions on this or info?

Okay next question...I am wanting to get away from processed milk so is raw cow milk a good alternative or no? I still want to try almond milk but I am having a hard time with the flavoring part. I dont really even like to put chocolate.into my cows milk, just plain Jane milk for me.

Try it...worse case scenario...you dont like it. I like it with cereal and in smoothies and stuff, but not plain.

I LOVE Blue Diamond almond milk...vanilla is my favorite! It's much healthier than cow milk.

That's what my son drinks. We're trying to limit dairy in my sons diet and that's a great alternative.

I love it. Silk and Blue Diamond both make types I like. Just like with soy, you can get it in flavors. I usually get vanilla because my DD drinks it as well.

When I first tried it, it seemed 'thicker' compared to cows milk, the taste wasn't bad. When I buy it to drink or for creal, I get vanilla, for cooking I use plain.

We are in the process of switching from raw dairy to almond.
We get the organic vanilla/choc for a treat.  ;-)

We drink almond and coconut milk. I'm not a fan, but my son is lactose intolerant. I miss my wonderul, fattening 2% cow milk

I give it to my son because of his milk allergy. It's good, but he does prefer to have chocolate flavor.
