I'm 35 weeks tomorrow and 2cm dilated as of thursday. I've been nesting the past couple days. Spent 3 hrs the past 2 days cleaning and organizing, while on bedrest...yes I know! I've been having contractions off and on. I'm on procardia to stop them but its not working well...ugh. I had my first at 35 weeks but it was induced because of low fluids, although I was already 4cm when they started the induction...I'm wondering if this baby could be born in the next few days, I definitely feel different. If i do keep having contractions I gotta call the hospital, then be Aero Med to the hospital. The ferry takes too long...I packed my bag already and i have his car seat and crib all ready and clothes in his dresser!

Could be early signs, my oldest was born at 35 weeks and my youngest at 37 weeks. No problems with either. I did have steroid shots with my youngest bc they thought I might have to be induced early, they did it to help her lungs develop.

STOP CLEANING!!

Yes,he can come in the next few days.I honestly do not understand why you're still up doing things if you're on bedrest.I was on bedrest for most of my pregnancy and understand not being able to do anything when nesting hits, but you have to do what's best for the little one.

Obey the bed rest girl. I know it is hard, but it is for you and the baby's health. I have been there.

I have a hard time sitting still. ADD gets the best of me sometimes.

Doesnt matter, force yourself too. You could cause needless harm to the baby

Like I said before,I was on bedrest for most of my pregnancy so I can sympathize with going stir crazy BUT...what's more important? You're child,or cleaning?
