kids allergies....does any one have any home remedies for curing kids allergies? My daughter has such bad allergies, and now that it is warm out, it is only getting worse :(.. It is actually getting to the point that her skin is getting red and dry. I just bought a humidifier, with vicks medicated drops to put in, and im getting a kids nasal spray, but i want to try everything i can, any suggestions?? Also what do you recommend for eczema?

PS yes i have taken her to the do, all they did was give me an infant allergy medication that doesnt do shit.

And for excema I use a comfrey salva. I'd try eliminating dairy and it's by-products if the excema is year round.

Have you seen an allergist? How old is she? How long did you give the med before deciding "it didn't do shit"?

How old is she?

DS is 11. He takes Zyrtec. Works wonders. As for his eczema we buy him Aveeno lotion and Aveeno body wash.

i don't know. we are way beyond home remedies for my son's allergies. He is allergic to everything it seems. several trees, pollen, mold, dust, several different types of grass, ragweed, tree nuts, ect. It messes with his asthma, which is pretty severe.

He takes veramyst, xyzal, allergy shots and singulair, dulera, duoneb for his asthma.
