I told my son we could go to the park today but it's raining and supposed to only get worse throughout the day, any ideas of something we could do inside to make up for it?

Drag all of the dining room chairs into the living room and use the coffee table and couch and such to make a HUGE tent. Then, use your Coleman lantern (that has a lightbulb- not a flame) to tell stories and color in coloring books and blow bubbles (they won't go far, but it will be novel). If you have a gas stove "toast" marshmellows and make s'mores to enjoy under the tent! : )

ut oh sorry i didnt realize you had a baby too. well then, i would have a family game day/night. play video games together, board games, have ice cream sundays, create a scavenger hunt.
