Please Help ME!! Me and My Children are in Danger!! *UPDATE PLEASE COME SIGN MY PETITION!!*

I need some advise. I decided to leave my husband because he is extremely verbally, mentally and emotionally abusive to me and was afraid it was not far from getting physical. He hurts our kids all the time and spanks out of anger but it isn't spanking them at that point. I don't believe in spanking because I don't think it solves anything but hurting them. He has grabbed them by neck, screams in their faces, and they are just terrified. So I left him and the police told me to get a PPO on him. When I arrived at the courthouse he was there ALREADY waiting for me and chased me into the courthouse while I ran in with my two small children! I got the PPO, and he filed for divorce ( which was fine by me since he saved me the filing fee) Then he was told to leave the courthouse while myself and two small children were in the police station waiting for him to leave. He was escorted by a Sheriff to his vehicle, but didn't leave and he was found hiding out in a bathroom in the building across from the courthouse and was arrested for stalking. Now he has his entire family involved driving by my house, following me where I go and knowing my every move! The stress is overwhelming! We had a custody hearing and I asked for sole custody with supervised visitation. CPS is involved and right now I have temp custody but keep hearing from credible sources that he and his brother and hatching a plan to hurt me, possibly kidnap the kids, and break in and take what is his from my house. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do to protect myself and the kids? He has already violated his PPO and we have a hearing middle of April. I have no family here because I moved 1,000 miles away for him! Please if you have dealt with this or been in an abusive situation I appreciate the advice!!

Update! I just adopted a 1 year old 90 lb black lab who is a sweetheart to me and the kids but we went outside and banged on the door and she went nuts! I feel a little better. At the gas station on the way back she also barked at someone pumping gas next to me from the car :)

SO I JUST GOT FUCKING PAPERWORK and they are GIVING HIM JOINT FUCKING CUSTODY STARTING THIS SUNDAY AT 6PM! I AM FUCKING IRATE RIGHT NOW!! ONLY IN THIS FUCKED UP STATE...OMG I AM SO UPSET I WANT TO JUST BALL MY EYES OUT!! THIS IS TEMP I AM GOING TO FIGHT UNTIL I HAVE NO FIGHT LEFT IN ME!!

Omg i am so sorry...i hope someone steps up and offers advice. I thought if he violates the ppo he would be arrested onthe spot?

I would contact a local shelter and I would get a gun. I'm sorry your going through this.

Honestly? Buy a gun. If and when he breaks in you are fully within your rights to shoot his ass. Ill Pray for you and your babies.

I would go to a local women's shelter for safety reasons until his hearing and then go from there. He will probably be stupid enough to violate the ppo again while you are in the shelter with the kids but then you will be safe snd you will have witnesses and he will probably go to jail then.

 I own a firearm for this reason. Just keep calling 911 and after you get custody, you need to move away. You can call safespace and see if they have a shelter there, they are REALLY nice and you will be hidden away from EVERYONE. Its the safest thing to do. See if there is a safespace in your area. They can help you get a job, move, anything you need to do.

Yes..yes yes yes get a gun but make sure you get a lock for it and a license or permit. Try to get something light ..pistol maybe and get a concealed weapon permit and carry it with you at all times. Sleep with it. Have all the kids sleep nearby too.

personally (as long as cps and the law doesnt consider it kidnapping) would take the kids and very little else and pick up and move.... leave no trace behind

First things first pack up all of. "his things" in boxes and put them outside. Go to an animal shelter and adopt a big dog. Yes I know it won't stop him from hurting you but he will hear things before you do. Have your kids sleep in your room with the door locked and get a concealed weapons permit. Start saving up to move! God bless you!
