I'm thirty two weeks pregnant and my girl is a little over four pounds, but I'm like one centimeter dilated. Is that normal?

As far as I know it is. Did you ask your doctor or midwife about it when you were checked?

1 mom liked this

Sounds normal. It is common to be dilated 1 or 2 for weeks before your delivery.

Also, don't get too hung up on the weight that the ultrasound gives you. It isn't accurate.

Sounds normal to me. My sister was 4 cm for like a month and had no issues

Yeah sounds normal to me. Being dilated doesn't mean anything really. I walked around dilated to 5cm for a long time with my 2nd! Lol nobody could believe I wasn't in labor. And 4 pounds sounds like a good weight!

Estimated weight sounds good.  Remember though that ultrasounds can be off by as much as 2 lbs.  Have you had at least one child?  if you've had more than one baby, it's pretty common for your cervix to open a little long before you actually go into labor.

I was 3cm dilated for 2 months with my first.
No biggie.
I even went 10 days overdue.
