I know I lot of people who have been told by their parents that they were an accident or that mom didn't have enough money for an abortion. A few times I have read on here that their mom said one of the kids was unwanted. Why would you tell this to a child or adult?

I would never tell my kids there were not wanted or that I didn't have abortion money because that's not true. But it's true that they were not planned and I won't lie about that.

Um...I don't really think it's appropriate to tell the kid that you didn't have enough money for an abortion. That's not true, anyway, because nowadays, you can get an abortion for free...

But, at an appropriate age, I think it's fine to tell a child that they were not planned. I am going to tell them that although they were not planned and I am happy with how everything turned out, it was really hard and I don't want the same life for them.

My son wasn't planned. If he is of appropriate age and asks, he will know he wasn't planned but that he has made me happy and I wouldn't have it any other way

My SO other told me she would have aborted all her kids. But she didn't have enough money.

see, if my mama had told that to me (I was planned) I'd have probably told her she should have done both of us a favor and try a rusty hanger
