Pig Pickin Cake?

Anyone ever heard of this...  lol i'm making one for tonight and was surprised that some didn't know what it is.

It's a basic yellow cake with mandarin oranges in it.  Then after you bake the layers and let them cool.  You whip together whipped topping w/ fresh crushed pineapple and 1 package of french vanilla pudding mix for the topping between the layers and on top of the cake :)

Anyway my mom is cooking tonight for the lady's at her church so I offered to fix a dessert so she wouldn't have to worry with doing it on top of everything else.  So since it's warm here I thought it would a refreshing dessert.

It's gonna be awhile.  Lol.  I'm still letting my layers completely cool before putting the topping on.  I'll take one when I get to the church.  Lol...  if I forget it looks similar to this (per google).  The only difference is I like to add pineapple on top for decoration.

It is very good...  my apt smells so good.  I want it nowwwwwww but I must wait!
