I do home daycare and I just added a new policy!

I will NOT take any child or infant that co-sleeps at home!!!

It is such a pain in the ass to get these kids to sleep in a crib or pack n play at daycare when they have never seen one at home!

I am not legally able to allow the children(babies) to sleep in anything other than a crib or pack n play, and this is rediculous!!!

Train them at home or find someone else!

Ok let me rephrase myself. I will no longer accept a child that co-sleeps AND who can not function at daycare normally. At least when it comes to nap time!

I co-slept but mine were also able to sleep in their cribs just fine.

I'm not sure how the rule is going to help you since every baby is different.

Sounds like a you problem. When I worked in the daycare we had multiple parents who co slept. We rocked them for a few minutes and they were fine. My biggest pain was a little girl who you had to lay next to and pat her back to sleep. She didn't wasn't a co sleeper.
