I need an answer to this question

So my girls swim lessons wrap up for the spring sessions on Thursday. DD1's swim coach is amazing. This kid is a senior in high school but is so great with the kids. My DD loves him and respects him.
However it's only been a 4 week class with lessons twice a week.

Now DD2's coach... We are in the mommy and me class meaning I swim with her. Well our coach is a senior girl. This girl is way more concerned with her social life and flirting with the life guard than she is about teaching DD2 anything.

Soo question... Is it appropriate to bake cookies or something to that effect for DD1's coach and let him know how great he did and thank him, but not do the same for DD2's coach.
Or is it awkward to do in general?!?

I think it's a little awkward in general.

I think it's awkward in general.  A simple thank you would suffice.

It may be awkward for you.  I don't think there is anything wrong with it though.  Wouldn't that be like tipping the waitress who didn't do a good job 15% and tipping a great one 35%+?  You don't have any cookie obligations.  You are just trying to reward and show appreciation for a job well done.

HELL NO! you are showing the lifeguard how much you appriciate his work and time .. if the girl didnt do that, then maybe she will see what you did and step up her game!

This girl has had so many complaints on her. But she is the only female lifeguard they have so try aren't really doing anything.
