When you want to be at home with your kids?  i know i did...esp when they were babies. But, it was either work and have food and a place to live, or be homeless...but the guilt of having to work was still there at the time, even tho i knew i had to do what i was doing to survive.

I fortunately get to sah with DS but I know DH hates leaving Ben to go to work. More so now that DS is 3.5 and begs him not to go because he misses him. DH knows he has too... just makes it harder to go.

Nope because I know that whatever time I do spend with them is good plus I can secure our financial future

Every day. I hated leaving my kids, especially when they cried.

I don't feel guilty going but I do feel sad that I can't be home when they get off the school bus. To discuss the day, to just talk , to relax with them. Some days I'm home just 30 minutes after them and that is great but other days I don't get home until 3 hours later. And we hate those days

Every day. Even more so when she cries at the door when I leave. :( breaks my heart. But I will do what is needed to put a roof over our heads. It makes it easier knowing that I can give her that on my own if need be.

Nope. I believe quality of time spent together is more important than quantity.
