my dr called with good news yesterday

One of her partners has successfully removed essure from one of her patients using a robot! They are willing to do it again on me. So if by October, I'm still having issues I can have them removed and my insurance will cover it! Yeah!!!!!!

I'm not sure what the robot is called but she said that it is far more precise than the human hand and can get in at a different angle making removal possible.

Quoting Tarotknits:

Is that using the Davinci robot here in Athens? There are billboards for it all over town here!

Awesome, well if its here in Athens you are in good hands. We have two amazing hospitals here, they will take good care of you.

What are the side effects? I had asked my GYN about this before getting my tubes tied back in 2006 and he said that he did NOT recommend this procedure.

Right, aren't you flying into Georgia for the operation? I live here in Athens, Ga  where there is a robot called Davinci they've been using for delicate surgeries. If not here I'm guessing Atlanta. But the hospitals we have here in Athens are stellar.
