When you send your rent check in how long do they usually take to cash it?  I ask bc 3 weeks ago we signed a lease and gave a  nearly $3000 check for security, first month etc. They have still not cashed it and its getting annoying to keep checking my acct. Thanks!

I hate waiting for checks to clear, so I use cashier's checks. I've seen it take up to a week and a half at most.

We pay with a money order, so I really have no clue when they cash it.

Same here, My landlord and I both bank with Wells Fargo and I just transfer the $ directly to his account each month. Op- I would call that seems unusually long to cash a check.
