No umbilical cord?

My MIL was watching ds while I showered. He fell asleep so she wrapped him in a blanket and put him in his crib Afterwards she left with her bf.. Well some time goes by and ds is hungry. I pick him and decide to change his diaper first. Well... I lifted his shirt and his umbilical cord is gone! I've been looking everywhere for it.. And MIL won't answer her phone...
Ah :(

Ok, that's just plain creepy.  Is your mother in law normally a creeper?
