Can you drive a manual car?

We just bought a car from my brother thats a stick and I need to learn. I'm excited and nervous!

Update: well my hubby took me over to the empty (it's the weekend) school parking lot and let me try it out. I did pretty good! I stalled a bunch and kept going into 5th instead of 3rd but I'm well on my way!

I wasnt allowed to drive until I knew how to drive a stick...my momma was very adamant about that. Now its the way I prefer even though we have an automatic truck.

no, I can't :( I've been trying to learn but my SO is an ass when it comes to his car. He gets mad if I stall it

My first car was a stick shift. I stalled it quite a few times while learning to drive it. lol

I've only ever bought manuals! I love them! It's incredibly simple to drive once you get the hang of it!

I've tried before but my ex was a dick and not a good teacher so I gave up.  When my legs better my SO is going to teach me.
