It kinda does though. The background & overall feeling of the first one is beautiful....the 2nd pic is just awful.....the model's awful, the place is awful & not aesthetically pleasing, the lighting is awful, etc. So, I don't think its all about the model, but that definitely is not helping the 2nd picture either. LOL!
I'm no where close to being a photographer, but no it does not get the point across well to me. I would think a landscape scene might be more appropriate, but then again, model photography is not something I enjoy.
I think a professional photographer would and should know how to pose a person that is the most flattering for that person. Being a model has nothing to do with beautifully composed photos and I think stating that one is a model and one isn't...it's actually confusing people....I mean are they talking about hiring a professional photographer or a professional model?I believe that you could have taken a photo with the fb model, put her in something more flattering...pose her showing that she has beautiful curves rather than taking a photo with her facing straight towards the camera....loosened up her legs....because they are way too stiff..and put her in front of something other than a fence...or they could have brought in a chair....anyway...I'm rambling....lol
I say the pic on the right was taken with a home camera. I don;t even think a person who is just starting out took that picture.
Overreacting is what it is. I will bet that some arrogant photographer made the ad thing up. I could see that. TRYING to prove a point that FAILED
