What are some professions that you think are paid entirely too high? What about too low?*edit*
Just curious to see everyone's opinions.
Most over paid - pro athletes, actors (obviously)
Most underpaid -EMT's, nurses (in some areas), and many other professions. Unfortunately, too many are underpaid as opposed to overpaid.
Most fairly paid - doctors, though many disagree. As I just explained to one poster,. when I had a high risk c-section and my doctor breezed in and cut me open with precision, skill, and perfection, he was worth all the money in the world. My life and that of my son's was in his hands. It was his very expensive schooling, knowlege, availability, and years of experience that enabled him to do so.
*edit* Something actually just occured to me. While actors (some) are paid way too highly, I never really considered what they sacrifice for that money. I, for one, would not take the millions if it meant such a lack of privacy and criticism. Once you reach a certain level of fame, you can't go back. Your life is altered forever. So, in a sense, maybe they aren't getting such a great deal after all.
