My husband is on a business trip until Thursday in Cali, then he's staying extra days to visit his fam. I have to say, I love my husband but OH MAN do I love my alone time. I got to make whatever I wanted for dinner which happened to be pasta in a goat cheese sauce with roasted red peppers, garlic, and artichoke. OMG YUM! I got the dishes done right away, the kids in bed early. The brita pitcher was never in the fridge empty, there was no question as to if the dishes in the dish washer were clean or not, the TV hasn't been on at all today, and I'm having my girl friends over on Saturday night for margaritas and cupcakes. What a great week! lol We all miss our husbands when they are out of town, but what do you love about having the run of the place?
I only wish I had bought my new laptop already. This one has a bad battery so it has to be plugged in at all times. My week would be PERFECT, if I could write and cafemom from my back deck.

I hate it when DH is gone...Of course it doesn't help that I've only got a couple of friends that are always busy, and that my neighbors are all turning against me for an unknown reason. Meh, oh well.

My DH will be away for training for two days in May. I am sooooo looking forward to it. I can cook what I want, watch what I want and not have to worry about him over riding my decisions with the kids.

We're moving way out of state in like 2 months anyways, so I'm not concerned lol. It was nice when we were all friends, but as of about a month ago they hardly ever talk to me and yesterday one of them had the nerve to call me a bad mother and say all this stuff like she knew what goes on in my house (on my Facebook page too). So after I deleted and blocked her, I'm sure she's gone to all the other neighbors by now and made up some more ridiculousness. Oh well.

I like taking the kids out to dinner and dh doesnt so we go out a lot.
My party starts at 8pm. You could leave around dinner time and be here with plenty of time. I'm making horchata cupcakes, mexican hot chocolate cupcakes, and tres leche cupcakes!
