Do you consider her a mom too? *Edit* Added another question.

This is off the post about being considered a mother even after you miscarry. Personally I consider them moms, just like the rest of us...they are no different at all.

But, my question is this....do you consider a woman whose had an abortion(s) and has zero live children also a mom?

Does it matter WHY she had the abortions? If she had one because of a medical condition do you consider her a mom, as opposed to the one who had an abortion because she didn't use birth control?

*EDIT*

So, another question....what about a mom who lost her child but has no other living children? Let's say the child was a stillborn, or the death was due to SIDS, or accidental, ect. The point being that she child is no longer here, does that person stop being a mother since the child, well, doesn't exist anymore?

What is the difference between that and a miscarriage to you?

I understand why some posters say that they don't consider women who had miscarriages to be mothers though, but at least for myself the moment the little stick showed a positive sign I was so connected to my child as a mother, but understandably we are all different and that's okay.

Abortion is murder. Putting a medical bowtie on it, doesn't change that. That woman who aborted WAS a mother. She killed her baby, and IMO isnt a mother anymore. And yes, I had a high risk, abortion recomended pregnancy. I also have a wonderful son from it.

I like how you say this. Medical bowtie is fun.

I'm not 1000% against abortion- nor am I super pro.

For me - if she aborted all her kids and doesn't have any living, I wouldn't think of her a one.

Whether she is or not to anyone else Idc.

I dont agree with the person saying that abortion, no matter the circumstances, is murder and that a murderer isnt a mother.

If you abort for personal reasons (nothing medical) with the exception of rape, then no youre not a mother, because you didnt want to be one

If you aborted because you were in a position where you or your baby were going to die, then I'd consider you a mother if you wanted to be.

An elective abortion without medical reason implies the woman NEVER wanted a baby. All the other circumstances are examples of wanted babies that were lost. Women who wanted to be moms. There is your difference and why one is not the other.
