No. Any good counselor will tell you that's a HUGE no-no.

Not out of anger but because I was honestly fed up with the way he was treating me. Things haven't really been the same since I said it either. We have some work to do whenever we finally get the chance.

Yes, but for good reasons and it certainly wasn't an empty threat.

No that's some pretty heavy shit to throw around in an argument, IMO.

Nope. The word "divorce" isn't allowed in our home.

I love him. He is the father of my kids. I just feel like i'm not important to him anymore. And he drinks a lot. He says he doesn't but he does. His dad was an alcoholic and I fear he is becoming one. I try to help, but I can't help him if he won't let me. Sometimes I feel like I have another child, not a husband.

No. Marriage should be taken more seriously.

Yes, I have when he's treating me like a 3 yr old and making me feel 2 inches tall. It always sparks open and honest communication and changes. He knows it's my way of saying, you've gone too far. He is going to start seeing someone to talk to about his anger and depression issues actually after our latest big arguement and I am happy about it.
