And when did you actually meet? I ask because I am talking to this great guy online right now. Haven't had time to meet yet mainly because he is am hour away and neither of us have a car.


So after talking to this guy for a couple weeks he is already looking at the future. And is constantly telling me that he loves me and wants me to be apart of his life. We haven't even met yet. Seems like every 5 min he says I love you and I want to be with you and all this other stuff. Don't get me wrong I like hearing every thing he tells me but not every few seconds. I'm beginning to think he is just desperate.


**UPDATE 2** I have been talking to this other guy for awhile and he seems real sweet. I was also keeping my options open and talked to another guy. This second guy expected me to put him before my daughter. Sry that's not happening

I meet my boyfriend 3 yrs ago on Plentyoffish.com. We meet about a month later and moved in with each other 2 months after that. We are happy together! :)

i met my fiance' on AOL 6 and a half years ago. it has had it's ups and downs but we have managed to stay together. we love each other very much and want to have a happy marriage. I met him while i was a home health nurse working the night shift with a hospice patient. she didn't care if i got online and then we met. he im'd me first. then we would talk all night long on the phone for the next week then after that week we met and there ya go. :)   AS for you, be careful cuz if he's already tellin you he loves you, he might end up bein confrolling.

It could just be he's anxious to meet you & is trying to put forth more effort since you guys can't see each other yet. I met my SO online & we've been going strong for almost 2 years now. We talked online & over the phone for 4 months before actually meeting face to face (mostly because I was a recent divorcee from a man who was very abusive & I wanted him to prove himself before we started dating officially). He has proven himself a million times over & we're getting married Summer 2013. So I say take it at your own pace, there's no need to rush. Because someone who truly loves you will be patienf and feel you are WORTH the wait! :) Good luck, I hope you & your beau work out. Its scary to hear the horror stories, but I am so blessed my story worked out like it has.

I did. We started talking early last September and met about 6 weeks later. Had our first date Oct 21. It's been going awesome. I went through a really bad divorce with a husband who cheated repeatedly. I thought I would never find love again. I have found my soulmate. We plan on getting married soon.

Met my husband online as well. We met a week or two after first talking, he moved in after 3 months, we were engaged a year and a half later, then married after being together for 3 years. We've been married for 7 years now and have a 9 month old daughter, currently planning #2. But I will say this, you always have to use good judgment, the more people I met online dating the more weirdis you come across, but there are nice guys out there for sure. I met my husband online, but you do need to be careful. Meeting online is fine, but just know you can't know a person completely until you meet in person. It doesn't mean it won't work. You just have to see for yourself if they've portrayed themselves correctly. Good luck and I hope it works out!

I did! I met my DH in a MSN Chatroom in the beginning of 2001. I moved from California to Texas a few months later and we married on July 11, 2001... this will be our 12th anniversary :) I love that man as much, if not MORE than I did the first day we met. He's my best friend
