What level were yours? I keep hearing that they aren't supposed to hurt and you're not supposed to really feel them. But every time I have one my back starts to hurt really bad and then the contraction really kicks in. I'm just kinda wondering what other women have been through.

When I had them after sex, they were pretty darn painful. More shocking than painful, though, because it's a very strange feeling. It differs for everyone, though.

Zero. Compared to labor it was like a gentle uterine massage.

okay good lol well not "good" but that makes me feel better mine are about a 7-8 and i was worried...because they reminded me of the ones I had when I miscarried my son. but to know someone else's were fairly strong helps me calm down a little lol

Yup I went to the hospital and everything lol.... They sent me home said it was just the Braxton hicks.

I never felt anything in early labour with my first oddly.
