If you've got pus leaking from your breast how can you ignore it?

Wouldn't you conquer your fear of the doctor and go in to get checked out?

My husband's uncle's new wife went to the ER and was diagnosed with breast cancer.

To the ER. With breast cancer.  :(

She had pus seeping from her breast and was in so much pain that she finally agreed to go to the hospital.  Upon further testing, they've found that it has traveled to her liver and spleen and possibly her brain.   She has only been told about the breast cancer so far, not that it has spread.  I have no idea how she will be able to process this.

She has NEVER had a mammogram (and she has to be near 60 or 65) in her life.

Please, get your mammograms.

Do your Self Breast Exams.

Don't be afraid to go to your doctor.

Go do it, lovey!

I went for mine just a few weeks ago. It's not horrible!  It's the not knowing that's awful.

This was my second time doing it and I commented on how warm the lovely technician's hands were.  She laughed at me.  :)
