Ds wants a hamster. What is better a habitrail or a fish tank. They say they can chew through a habitrail and get out and others say the tank doesn't have enough ventilation. What's your opinion?

Never had a hamster but with a guniea pig we put her in a huge glass tank with a wire net lid so nothing (cat) could get in. Plenty ventalation

We breed mice and keep them in a glass tank with a wire top, no ventilation issues.

I was thinking of a tank. As cute as a hamster is I don't want it to come up missing and be running around my house lol
