On my way home I called my hubby to let him know I was stopping at the store. I didn't want him to worry cause I said before I would go straight there but then remembered I needed something. While in the store he said the lady next door ask ti borrow money needing groceries for her kids till her stamps were in. I said I'll take care of it he didn't remember she borrowed money from me 2 days ago said it was for food. I spent $100 on various items to help out. Get there she says I didn't want you to get the food I wanted the money to go my self. I told her flat out I know your a drug user I wanted to make sure the kids really got food. She said take it back I don't want it. Was i in the wrong for doing that in that way?

I don't think you were. The kids eating are more important. I would have just bought the food myself too.

No. If her story were true she'd take the food.

No. Obviously she wanted it for something else.

No. You were dead on accurate. She wanted money for something besides food. Dont ever give her any again. If she ever asks offer to pick up the food for her or to take her with you.

She wanted it for drugs more then likely. Have you thought of calling in cps or a well fare check?

You we right. Any person truly in need of food would have gladly taken what you offered. Poor kids.
