I have a friend that works for a daycare center. She is constantly posting kids in her class on her Facebook. Well today she was out with me today and she took a pic with my son. Later she posted that pic on facebook. I simply commented I really wish you would of asked me before posting the picture of my son and I am sure some of your daycare kids parents would feel the same. She replied "if it's that big of deal I will take the picture of C down. I don't really see the problem since it is just Facebook and although I have never asked the parents I am sure they would feel the same way". So am I over reacting because it is "just Facebook"?

No its your child and Facebook is a public forum. I wouldn't want just anyone posting of my children either.

Not really, but it would depend on if her fb is private or public.
But it is your kid so not overreacting.

I don't really know but she has over 1000 friends so I am sure she just adds anyone lol

Did she tag your child's name in the picture? I sometimes post my kids cousins(with their mother's permission) and she is okay with that as long as their names are not tagged. I just label the picture as Ros with her cousins...

IMO family is different than some stranger's kid. Well the daycare kids are technically a stranger's kid.
